Defiant Rally was less potent than Hasten or Fortify with regards to the boosts each spell provided to their respective physical attributes, but it was certainly more versatile. Max resolved to acquire Hasten and Fortify again from the other kobold shamans he was sure to encounter over the course of the day. He wanted to copy Empower as well, which he was certain was a spell that boosted a Knight-Errant’s strength. That would allow him to act as a potent force-multiplier for any cohort that included him, making his allies far more capable in whichever way best suited the situation they were in or the foes they faced.

Max turned to the Knights-Errant and nodded.

“Alright. That’s a good start. Let’s carry on,” he said.
